Transportation and Venue
The ICTC workshop will be held at The Hotel in College Park, Maryland across from the University of Maryland Campus. Access to the workshop is only an elevator ride away as we reserved a room block at The Hotel!
Attendees can access Ignite 2018 by three airports including Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), and the Dulles International Airport (IAD). There is a Metrorail line serving College Park from Reagan National Airport as well as the Greenbelt-BWI Airport Express Line between BWI and Greenbelt Metro Station. Finally, AMTRAK Train Stations are available in Washington, DC (Union Station) and New Carrollton, MD.
Food and lodging for all workshop participants will be covered. The code to book lodging will be provided through email. Limited travel funding is available upon request.
Excursion: WTMD’s First Thursdays in Baltimore (August 2nd)
First Thursday’s is a free monthly concert series in Baltimore on the First Thursday of every month of the Summer. There is live music, food/beverage vendors, and activities for all ages at the concert. The event is held at the Canton Waterfront Park which is accessible by car and water taxi.

Important Information for Workshop Attendants
A coach bus will depart from The Hotel at 5:30 pm on August 2nd and will drive participants to Canton Waterfront Park. The bus will depart from Canton Waterfront Park exactly at 9:30 pm on the same day. Anyone who does not make it back to the bus at 9:30 pm will need to locate their own transportation back to College Park.

Our workshop is conveniently located near the College Park-U of MD Metrorail station, giving attendees full access to attractions in Washington, DC and surrounding areas. Take advantage of the summer sun and head down to the Nation's Capital, where there are free museums, beautiful monuments, and exciting activities.
